Oracle Fusion Project Manager

Hawkins Point Partners has an immediate need on its Cambridge Massachusetts team for a Senior Oracle Project Manager with expertise supporting Oracle Fusion (Cloud) implementations. This person will represent the business (Accounting) financial management members during the Oracle Fusion Cloud migration. Vendor management and SLA tracking experience is a must for this role. The ideal resource will have experience supporting Oracle financials-including cash management, fixed assets, GL, vendor management, Oracle Inventory and manufacturing module experience is a plus.  This person will have a technical acumen to develop reports and produce reports for senior management review.  Experience in a technical reporting environment with the primary skill set– bordering techno-functional. Able to provide a solution architecture mindset is a plus.

 Core Duties:

  • Experience supporting full life cycle Oracle Fusion Cloud migration along with management of vendors. Vendor management and SLA tracking experience is a must.
  • Track Oracle cloud project to predetermined schedule, keep project within scope, provide mitigation of risk, and drive Oracle effort to successful implementation.  As needed, perform as business liaison (BA) between non-technical financial team members and vendor cloud (technical) team. 
  • Blend of technical technical and functional skills including a strong technical acumen to develop reports and produce reports for senior management review. 
  • Gather requirements, document and make changes to initial functional and technical specifications for this implementation.  Write test cases and use cases to support vendor project manager during this cloud migration. 
  • Support Oracle supply chain and track traceability and supply inventory.   
  • Support quality business process-work to evaluate best practices to unify an independent environment.
